Commentary:

Wisdom teeth are the third and sometimes fourth row of molars that can appear at the rear of each row of teeth.  They generally come in without sufficient room for them, so can cause a number of problems if not removed.  Patients between 17 and 25 years of age will commonly need wisdon tooth extraction.  This article describes what you can expect from the removal of these molars by your dentist, as well as symptoms you may want to watch out of  for if complications occur.
