 Traditional crown restorations require two appointments.
Our office has
institituted the latest in technology. By using CAD CAM technology we
are able to fabricate your restoration in our office in a single
visit. We do this by taking a digital impression of your tooth using
our handheld intraoral camera. With this image we create a virtual
model and then we design the restoration on the computer.
Once
the restoration is designed a block of porcelain is selected to match
your teeth and we send the information from our computer to our milling
machine.
 
The milling machine then takes and mills the restoration from the specially selected porcelain block we place in it. 
Then this restoration is polished and cemented into place.
