Meet Our Staff

Ashley – Office Manager

Ashley is the office manager and has been with Dr. Chowning since 1998. She can answer any questions about your visit and is always willing to help our patients with anything necessary to make their experience here with us as pleasant as possible. Ashley was born in England and moved to Denton in 1994. She married a native Dentonite, Isaac, in 2000 and they have a wonderful son Henry to keep them very busy and entertained. Her passion outside of work is cooking and she loves to host dinners for her extended family and friends.

Jamie – Business Assistant

Jamie has been with Dr. Chowning since 2006. She is responsible for anything related to appointments, insurance benefits and treatment estimates. She can help you understand your insurance coverage and ways to maximize your benefits. She was born south of Houston, but has lived in Sanger since 2002. She and her husband have been married since 1997 and have 2 children. Their son, Tyler, was born in 1998 and daughter, Chloe, followed in 2002. When she’s not at work she spends her time relaxing with the family, reading and hanging out at the lake during the summer.

Tami – Registered Dental Assistant

Tami was born in Miami Florida. She moved here to Texas in 2005. She has been a registered dental assistant since 1985 and loves every minute of it. She loves to make patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. Tami has been at Timberlake Dental since 2007 and feels very blessed to work with such wonderful people. When she is not assisting, you can usually find her on a playground somewhere with her daughter MacKenzie, or out taking photographs. Her other hobbies include scrapbooking and skydiving.

Jennifer – Registered Dental Assistant

Jennifer has been in dentistry since 2001. She has been with us since August 2010, where she enjoys working and caring for our patients. Jennifer has been married to her best friend, Kevin since 2001. She has two kids, Chelsea and Cameron. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, camping and spending quality time with her friends and family. Jennifer feels very blessed to have the opportunity to work with such a great group of people.

Jeannette – Dental Hygienist

Jeannette has been in dentistry since 1978 and with Timberlake Dental since 2002. She has lived in the Denton area for most of her life, along with her husband Craig and three sons. She is dedicated to improving the overall health of her patients, and giving them the tools and the knowledge necessary to maintain a healthy smile. When she is not working, she enjoys shopping, time at home with her family and relaxing with a good book.

Cynthia – Dental Hygienist

Cynthia has been a hygienist since 1998. She received her degree in dental hygiene from Missouri Southern State College. Cynthia loves to get to know our patients and share her knowledge of treating the whole body. She has been married to her husband Kevyn since 1998 and has 2 kiddos. She enjoys her relationship with God, reading, sewing, exercising, and cooking.

Jenny – Dental Hygienist

Jenny has been a dental hygienist since 1994.  She attended Texas Woman's University in Denton and received a bachelor's of science in dental hygiene.  She feels very blessed having an opportunity to help others improve their smile and achieve an overall healthier life. She has been married to Sam since 1995 and has two beautiful children (Courtney and Samuel).  She grew up in a small town in East Texas and loves the "country life."   When she is not working, she enjoys gardening, visiting family & friends from her home town, volunteering with hospitality ministry at her church, and "sleeping."
