Commentary:
This article is a good introduction to Cerec Technology, which we use at Timberlake Dental. It allows us to, for many patients who need a crown, produce one in an hour, right here in our office. Basically, computerized equipment scans the site where a crown is needed, and based on advanced techniques provides the data necessary to grind out solid porcelain to create the new crown. The new crown is created in a backroom by the Cerec equipment. You are able to receive a new, complete crown in one visit.
