Commentary:
Over the 15 year period ending in 2010, 15 times more children have been injured in inflatable moonwalk or bounce houses. These popular birthday party rentals are of course a bit safer than the typical backyard trampoline – but not much safer. The increase in the number of injuries could of course be attributed to the increasing popularity of these bounce houses, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be concerned.
