Commentary:
This video is a technical departure into the “why it works” arena of modern dentistry. The Cerec system we use at Timberlake Dental produces crowns while you wait using advanced digital imaging. One of the digial imaging features of Cerec is called articulation. It allows us to examine in 3 dimensions how a new crown interacts with not only the other teeth that may grind against it but also, and just as importantly, the normal jaw movements of your mouth. As you can see in the video, the system essentially tests out dimensions of the new crown and allows us to adjust it till it works well. It’s a powerful tool.
