Commentary:

Tooth enamel  is the glossy, protective layer on the outside of teeth which protects them from cavities, sensitivity, and discoloration.   In the study reported by this article, three individuals were compared, one a cocaine user, one a methamphetamine user, and the third an excessive diet soda drinker.  Read the article to find out if soda fared any better than heavy drugs in protecting teeth.
