This may not happen any time soon, or at all since it is still in the early experimental stage, but the use of stem cells to repair human tissues in the mouth is an exciting, and transformative idea.  It is exciting to think that the dentist of the future could actually regrow a tooth to repair it, raher than using the current techniques.  See this article for a good explanation of stem cells and how they may be used in dentistry.
