If you’ve ever taken a slug of cough syrup before you went to bed (or carefully gave your child a dose of children’s cough syrup before bed), you may want to read this article.  Cough syrups may contain ingredients that will lead to tooth decay, such as alcohol, high fructose corn syrup, or citric acid.
