Bad breath is a common struggle for many people and often a concern that many people seek a solution for. Bad breath, also known as halitosis, is often resulted from either poor oral habits or a sign of other health-related issues. Food choices and unhealthy habits can also be a factor.

Strongly scented food items such as garlic, onion, alcohol, pastrami, cheese, orange juice, soda, and certain spices are examples of foods that will be challenging to minimize oral odor from.

Consistent oral odor can often result from health concerns such as gum disease, oral yeast infections, and cavities. If not treated, gum disease can damage gums and jawbone due to plaque buildup.
